Today was really really uneventful and usually society or peers around you make NYE to be the best night of the year, the most enjoyable etc..etc.
Tbh what I think of it is, when we're our age we really shouldn't see it that way. We have 50 odd years to do that kind of stuff. Unless you're still the party animal at age 65+... that's another story.. but yeah idk.
I never saw this day as special unless i had a devastating year... like my 2012 year.
Anyway, instead of recounting a dry, dead day I will reflect on 2013.
Also I have made the decision to keep going with this blog because yeah I can't really be bothered making a new blog and also thinking of a new URL and the one I dread most is editing a blog skin.
So I will eventually get a new blog skin but yeah not now, I don't feel it's necessary and also, embarrassingly, I couldn't find myself a good one this year.

Anyway!!!! BAck to reflecting.
I feel like this year went by so fast. I did all the things that I saw the previous year 10s do when I was in the junior years like work experience, interview day, dance competition thing... like idk it was so weird actually experiencing it for myself.
This year also went by so fast. I feel like NYE of 2012 was only a few weeks ago.
Though this year, I made one mistake where I invested my time in something for way too long and now I'm over it and I think of it as such a waste of my time. I wish I had invested that time more on school work, building friendships, working on my emotional state... the list goes on of what I could've done instead but oh well. What has happened.. has happened.
This year for academics was terrible for the first semester.... when I had promised myself in 2012 that i would do my absolute best in 2013... but yeah idk. Things did pick up in semester 2, I did a lot better.

This year didn't feel like a complete waste. It would probably be one of my favourite years since year 6 when in primary school.
Anyway yeah. ... thanks to those people in my life that made this year enjoyable.
Thanks to Corinne of course, she my bae. Thanks to my girlies at school: Lisa, Thucai, Anna... and Corinne but she already got mentioned HAHA
Also to Majid, he's been a really good friend to me this year. I think it's a balanced friendship so yeah that's good. Also thanks to irene, love the shit out of her, she's the best. ALSO BEZ, she made my experience in Aqua even more enjoyable. AND ALSO ANYONE WHO HAS MADE ME LAUGH (PREFERABLY A LOT) HAHAHA yeah
But the people I listed are the ones that I love/care about the most in my life at the moment.
Thanks for everything 2013, the good and the bad i guess.
I won't hope for a better 2014 lolol but I will try my best to make the most of it. I know there will be shitty times but that is inevitable.

And let's list some realistic goals:

• read more - because I have stacks on stacks of books waiting in line to meet my eyes
• drink more water - stay hydrated because i don't think i drink enough for my age
• concentrate on school more than i did in year 10 - that's a given but i will list it anyway
• be happy and positive - i don't want to drag people down with me anymore
• learn to say "no" more often - i always freaking say yes and give in to peer pressure

Yeah those are realistic - more like easy hahaha ok

Woke up today to help my mum print off sheets of paper. After doing that I went back and slept for another hour because I slept at 3:19AM..... and woke up at 6:32AM.... yep not fun so slept til like 7:45AM
I like to recount time exactly idk why. OKay I like tweeted all this and I feel weird repeating this on blogger yeah ok whatever it's a part of my day, can't help it.
[by the way, can u believe it???? I'm catching up]
Made a strawbie and banana smoothie yum ^__^ for breakfast - and damn it was so filling.
Anyway chilled out in the morning til Corinne arrived. She looked so lost on my street but that was cos I accidentally gave her the wrong address HAHA whoops.
Basically all we did today was nothing much. Idk where time went but it was fun.
Med a cek w/ cornz. We wanted to make a malteser cake because we saw someone make it and we'd lusted over it before so yah we wanted to make it a reality but yeah didn't go too well!!! HAHAHA
Let's list things that went wrong:

• Don't have measuring cups
• Didn't have enough self raising flour tbh
• Didn't have enough butter
• I don't own a proper mixing bowl so shit went flying everywhere
• Our cake batter wasn't enough - literally looked like a very thick pancake
• So we had to cut in half to make a tall cake but it was a half a cake.... 
• The icing went all apeshit on me because my measurements were wrong 
• So we had to use corinne's batch which was good but we only had enough for like 3 cupcakes not a cake HAHAHAH oh dear
• Putting on maltesers on a VANILLA cake looked nastier than we had planned
• It was messy and not neat and I gave up 3/4 of the way
• WE COULD ONLY TAKE CAKE PHOTOS FROM CERTAIN ANGLES OMFG
• We suck

In the morning, it was so damn windy. I looked out my window and I was like nope. Went back to bed. Woke up to my mum rigorously cleaning my shower screens omg and I have the master bedroom so the bathroom is next door, literally.
Shortly after my mum's cleaning regime, my parents headed to campsie to grocery shop for the week.
After they came back it was manic. My dad is the kind of person who likes to keep things short and concise and annoyingly, a mystery.

It's always:
Me: "Where we going dad?" 
Dad: -no answer- 

Me: "where did you go dad?" 
Dad: "i don't know"

Dad: "Let's go!!!!"
Me: "Where???"
Dad: "Does it matter?" 

OMFG Y me not knowing where i am going makes me very anxious.
Anyways we ended up going to the botanical gardens, like we do every god damn year with my grandma. After a shit load of screaming and arguing, we finally settled down and got there.
Took pics with the fam and yeah.....

After went yumcha and I got so damn angry near the end. Some asshole waiter gave us like fkn 200 degree tea. I burnt my fucking mouth so bad. So as expected I threw a tantrum hahaha ok I sound like a brat but when you're injured and you're a scorpio, you kinda want to kill someone. So I threw the hot tea all over the table and poured it everywhere. And chucked mad dirties at the waiter. I screamed out that he was a fkn servant. Yeahhhh lolol typical asian making a scene at a restaurant due to bad service.

Cooled down after and went Daiso.... ^___^ my fav store in the whole world hehe.
Bought another eyebrow pencil and also other small knic-knacs.

Ok day despite the arguing and the tantrum throwing from me.

Today was karaoke for christmas/new year/sophie and priscilla's birthday celebrations lolol all that jam packed together. We decided on going Lantern by Wagaya on George St.
Of course sophie came late - as usual so everything started later. It was meant to start at 12:00PM but we ended up starting at 1PM or so lolol.

There was this annoying room hassle situation. Cynthia, Beryl, Nicky and Tina arrived there first so they moved the tables around to make space but as they moved the tables they managed to release this nasty smell which I assume was vomit and it was so so so bad. They came in with air freshener and a mop. Ok so the problem with that is bad smells and good smells make things smell contradicing therefore worse. And mopping the vomit will only spread it out so it smelt bad throughout instead of one spot.
So, we requested for another room without such a bad smell and we got the bigger VIP room. It was so...much better!!!!

And yeah, set up quickly and then the birthday girls came in!!
After that the fun ... started haha idk.
Sang for 3hrs straight whilst also eating of course. The food at Wagaya was so nice!! Well I thought it was going to be nasty but it was actually really tasty. Also overpriced but as a group, we managed to snag a good deal. Wow why did i say snag such straya.
No-one really sang but me and a few others but I must say I did hog the mic lololol but i liked the songs so idc......... HAHA okay let's move on

My head was like pounding so much after. #dead
Whilst waiting for my mum to pick me up at city, I saw phynia and andy I think. Phynia and I chatted for a bit then she crossed the road lol what were the chances.

Today was the friday and basically did nothing much but stay at home and chill out. It was also the night before the event for sophie and priscilla so I had that on my mind? I really don't know. It was boxing day today and also boxing day sales. I didn't even step outside my home. Just stayed in my room haha. I've actually never been boxing day sales but I know I would absolutely hate it. I hate shopping in crowds... like wtf i like to shop in peace. Where the shop assistant can serve me like a bitch hahhaha ok too far but you know it's nice to have a servant. Anyways yeah boring day and I'll end it here but I will post a pic of christmas food leftovers turned into a hearty breakfast. ^___^

So basically today both my parents stayed at home as if it were a sunday and we just chilllled out. I actually did work... dw what work but yeah inside the home lol idk not child labour ok idk ignore that.
But today it was my duty to do the christmas lunch and christmas dinner, it was my duty because I said it was my duty.... and I only got inspired really from the woolworths christmas food free recipe book thing where they collab. with jamie oliver ...yeah haha idk ok!!
Anyway, for LUNCH i cooked:

My dad went to work so it was up to my mum, grandma and I to get to the grocery shopping done and we did... Got ingredients for Christmas day lunch and dinner.
Went home, packed away groceries and had to decide where we wanted to go for lunch. As usual we headed for hurstville. At first I wanted to eat a cafe but my mum was reallllly craving chinese food and specifically shanghainese food so we went Taste of Shanghai. The line when we got there was kinda long and omg this beijing couple was pissing me off so bad. They were full against eachother like body to body UM it was fakn 35 degrees or something. And they were cleaning eachothers ears..... um yuck??????
Anyways we go t seated next to them as well, gave them a boat load of dirties LOL and yeah. The food was good though!! Had Xiao Long Bao, Xiao Wonton, Chao Mian, Shao Mai and Mango frappe. It was yom!!! Here's some pics:

Omg when I was writing Day. 355 - I full panicked thinking that it was the second last day of the year and I was like shit!!!! Is it already 2014// BUT it's 364 I should be worried about not 354, 355.
Anyway, that day I woke up so clueless. No inhibition that it was saturday and I slept in. My mum burst into my room and was like you need to go out today, don't forget!!!!! And I was like .. . what?
Bu t yeah had to get up to go hurstville to buy thuc's birthday present and then later get picked up by my dad and eat lunch. And we did. We had oportos and it was so so good.
Did house stuff - cleaned and just did leisure stuff yeah.....
Also another uneventful day imo.

I shall blog about formal!!!! Finally omg idk why I put off blogging so much these days, I suck.
Once I put something off, it get's so hard to get back on track for me... But that applies to a lot of people.

Ok so chilled at home for the whole day until around like 2:30PM where I showered, put on a face mask, then went on primer, foundation, eye makeup, brows, lips then did hair. I didn't even have my chicken fillets on and my dad was downstairs shouting his face off telling me to hurry up. I CANNOT be rushed when it comes to these things because I'm a sweat monster and yeah didn't want to sweat off the face I had just put on. Anyway, I was apart of the "team" that helped in some way with the formal so we had to go there before everyone else. My dad stuffed up so many times when sending me there but yeah I STILL got there super early.... and I was the first one there. So embarrassing.

After many moments of trying to look casual and fit in with the crowd then I saw a guy walk toward me, in all white.... it was Colin HAHAH and yeah I was so happy because I was no longer going to alone. Yeah but conversation was pretty awks and was segmented... but yeah. Then finally Beryl and Co. arrived and we went up and set up. We also took the first photobooth photos he he.

Last day omg what
It did not feel like the last day of school for 2013... idk why. But it's like lately nothing feels like anything anymore which is so sad and odd. But i read on tumblr, it's just a process of growing up??? Things get less exciting? I don't even know man.
Okay so basically a lot crying and card reading and eating. It was just basically a feels party with our class for the whole damn day and yeah. Most sad about Irene leaving but that's logical because ya know I'm closest to her out of the people who are leaving next year... so yah/
Also we got our reports today and it's different to the RoSA so yeah wtf but then I expected that.
Stayed back at school to get some photos as a group with the people leaving tempe. (already posted pics)
